E3 trade show overview

The Electronic Entertainment Expo, short called E3, is known as annual Olympic event of electronic entertainment industry with the largest scale and the best known in the whole world. It is used by many video game developers to showcase their upcoming games and game-related hardware. E3 is widely considered to be the unparallel expo in the video game industry.

Past E3 trades shows review

The E3 history shows that it attracted 70,000 attendances in 2005 and 60,000 visitors in 2006. The number of people who attended E3 declined in 2007 and 2008 because E3 was transformed into invitation-only. Entertainment for All Expo was held in those years to meet the public needs for a major, annual video game event. However, it can not accommodate the demand of the public and in 2009 the E3 was again opened to the public. E3 has always been held at Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angles in late May or early June of each year before 2007. In 2007, the event was opened from July 11 to July 13 in California.
